It gets dark far too early this time of year. Yesterday I have made it home from work at 4:45 then spent a bit of time getting the camera gear into a backpack and drove up to the north Orem BST trail head. The sun was almost down and the clouds were still thick as I started to jog up the trail. I ran for just under 15min up the steep trail that leads above the power lines and set up the tripod just in time to get the last few moments of the sunset. After I got home and started to process my photos I remembered that I accidentally spit all over my lens (while trying blow off some dust) when I last took photos at the Temple of the Birds . This resulted in spots in quite a few of them images but I am very thankful for lightroom2’s dust removal tool.
