Last Sunday I was able to take some time to do a solo hike to the high point of Antelope Island on the Great Salt Lake.  The temperature was in the mid 70’s and the brine flies were  extremely annoying in the parking area.  About 1.5miles into the hike there are some pretty awesome panoramic views of the Antelope Island, the Great Salt Lake, and the Wasatch Front.

I made the hike to the summit and back in 3hours and 3 days latter my legs are still sore.

Clint and I met up on a cold Sunday afternoon to make the drive out to Stansbury Island for sunset.   Nothing new just the same old spot with different light. After a pretty much colorless sunset we made our way back towards the temple of the birds to do a bit of light painting.
