While taking our third voyage this year to northern California April, Bowen, Lanik and I made a day trip along the coast. Our First stop of the trip was Muir Woods National Monument. We spent a little over and hour hiking along the paved trail to Bohemian and Cathedral groves. The kids loved the giant redwoods that tower up to 250 feet tall.
After we wrapped things up a Muir Woods we drove down to the Muir Beach Overlook.

Next stop on our little tour was Agate Beach.
After Spendings the afternoon at Agate we drove south down Highway 1 to Muir Beach. We walked out to the shore just in time to take some photos and watch the sunset over the Pacific.
