Farnsworth Canyon

We started out our Oct. 3rd 2008 Weekend by setting up camp in North Temple Wash. The weather was perfect and the sky was littered with clouds as we drove out to Farnsworth Canyon.

There is one bad spot in the road not far north from North Temple Wash, HCV is needed to cross the wash. We got stuck for a few moments until I put it into 4wd then we were on the road. We parked at the trail head and started up the bypass route alone the old atv trail (now closed) at 4:30pm.

We let Bowen (19months) walk all the way back from the slot to the car,We made it back around 6:30pm. The slot in Farnsworth was short but very sweet hike, a great filler or after dinner type hike. We will for sure be going back.

  1. Man, you guys are such great parents! I have been working so much lately that I have done nothing, and then I see all the cool stuff you guys are doing. Not fair!
