Provo Peak June 23, 2009 at 11:47 am

Monday after work Clint and I got together to hike up the west ridge of Provo Peak.  The route is about 2800 vertical feet in just under two miles… so very steep, lots of loose rocks, and no established trail. We slogged our way up the steep west ridge to the summit in just under two hours.  We spent about twenty minutes on the summit and took some photos before we headed back down. The hike took up 3 hours and 30 minutes round trip. I very sure that I dont  ever want to hike this route again.
