Who says getting an unexpected call from a lawyer is bad thing?

Last week an internet acquaintance who had seen some of my past industrial/abandoned decay work contacted me to see if I was interested in shooting an abandoned county jail.  Of course I was interested and was literally counting down the hours until I could get inside.

Scott had been given access to the jail due to a case that he has been working on and gave me an excellent tour of the site. Had he not shown me around I don’t think I would have had the nerve to explore some of the darker regions of the facility. To all you abandonment junkies out there this is still considered a jail and trespassing on this site could result in some serious consequences, so keep out.

I have really been slacking when it comes to posting photos up here over the last few weeks.  I have be spending most of my time shooting photos around Utah Lake while enjoying the winter sunsets and ice. Here is a sample of what I have been shooting this winter.
