Last Wednesday my wife, brother and I made a quick overnight car camping trip to the Uintas. We set up camp then started out hiking the Clyde Lake loop under dark clouds and rolling thunder in every direction. The calm lakes and weather conditions provided for some pretty awesome backgrounds for photos.

We completed the loop in just under 3 hours and witnessed one of the most intensely colorful sunsets I have ever seen as we arrived at the Crystal Lake trail head.

At camp I stayed up really late shooting my first star trails with the 7d.

The mosquitoes were pretty intense this trip so we wont be headed back until the next freeze.
